We only live once, allegedly … It’s a big, beautiful world out there and I aim to see as much of it as possible before it gets dark.

I aim to inspire people to get on their Macs (wot, there are other computers…) and book a ticket to some fabulous destinations, get curious, get inspired, fulfil your dreams.

Really passionate about travel, seeking out those places that the tourists rarely, or never get to and I love to write, make videos and photograph the fabulous places I get to see.

I’m based near the beautiful city of Toulouse in South West France and am Bilingual French and English, whilst learning Spanish too.

Chris is a corporate trainer and published author, when not travelling, but don’t let that put you off.

UNESCO World Heritage Site: In 2005, the NMR was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the "Mountain Railways of India" category, joining the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway and the Kalka-Shimla Railway. First of Its Kind: The railway was the first in South India to use a rack-and-pinion system to climb steep gradients, making it a marvel of early engineering. Steep Climb: The railway climbs from an altitude of 326 meters (1,070 ft) in Mettupalayam to 2,203 meters (7,228 ft) in Ooty, making it one of the steepest rail lines in Asia. Rack-and-Pinion Technology: This unique system, called the Abt rack system, was imported from Switzerland to help the train tackle the steep inclines.
