Discover Collioure

The beautiful town of Collioure on the Mediterranean sea, just a few kilometers from the Spanish border in south west France.

The town was and still is a magnet for artists such as Henri Matisse, André Derain, Pablo Picasso and Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

There are many forts on the surrounding hills and in the town which was fortified dues to its strategic importance.

There are lovely walks along the coast among terraced vineyards , olive trees and cork oaks. Wines are produced here as well as the fortified Banyuls wine and Collioure anchovies are some of the best in the world. It’s a great place to visit – i’m sure you’ll agree.
