Just a few steps from the bustling, noisy Souk and just a few minutes walk from Jemmaa el-Fnaa lies the Secret Garden, a quiet and green escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh.

Walk through the main Souk, to the Mouassine quarter and take Rue Sidi Abdelaziz and it is half-way down on the left, hidden behind the walls of the Medina, just a stone’s-throw from Mouassine fountain and Mosque.

It is one of the biggest and oldest palaces in the Medina, inside are two large gardens, one of the highest towers in the Medina, a shop and two cafés to enjoy a snack and a mint tea in the peaceful, lush gardens.
